When I hear the word "volunteer", I think about helping without expecting something. This concept is very important because it makes us understand that we need to help each other and also it makes us realize that we are capable of doing chances by helping others. Your help may be a drop in the ocean, but every little bit counts. I have done volunteering work by feeding homeless people in the streets and it is a very nice experience. Yet, I'd like to help on environmental stuff. Volunteering is important because if no one volunteered, we would lose our human qualities and we may even become extinct because every one would be in their own business, so there would be no concern to cure diseases for example. Also, most of the world's problems would be solved by volunteerism, such as world hunger! However some cannot be fixed such as wars. At last, I'd like to be a volunteer overseas because it would be nice to get acquainted with that kind of experiences.

I think about good people doing good things to make happy or help other people, without an interest when i hear the world volunteer. Ithink is really important volunteer but not all people like to do good things for others. i think if you are grateful with the life and opportunities you have, you will try to help others and spend a few of your time as a volunteer .i really like to help people specially if it's a person with some kind of problem. i like show them the good side of life. actually i like to work with children and homeless persons. Do you imagine a world without volunteer? If that happen we wouldn't see these small acts that make world a little more human. But not all problems can be solve by volunteerism , it's really difficult (if not impossible) have a world without problems I really like to be a volunteer, actually it's in my future plans.

Volunteer is a person who voluntarily undertakes to offer help. we should be all volunteers to collaborate and than they compel us. i would like to Agriculture Volunteer, work alongside farmers on integrated projects that often combine vegetable gardening, livestock management, agroforestry, and nutrition education. In my town has been started with this project. IF NOBODY WOULD BE VOLUNTEER offer PROBLEM, WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO ADVANCE. maybe volunteering is not the solution to all problems because you need capital, food, political support, but it's a big step to improving. why not go overseas and cooperate, I would like

Yes, I would really like to work as a volunteer overseas, helping others is the most amazing experiences that we can have. I think everyone should do it at least ones to learn a valuable lesson.

The word volunteer means a person who works free for a good reason. I think, all people can do something good for others. And the volunteer enroll in a program with the sole purpose of doing something good for others. I like to do something relevant with nature, like save turtles or another animals, clean beach or rivers, and promote the recycling. Also, I like to build temporary house for poor people and share with different people, because I participated in “Un Techo para mi país” and it was very cool. And another occasion I went to Nombre de Jesus beach and I helped with patrol the beach, follow the turtles and help the baby turtles. If no one volunteered, the people would not have hope nor motivation. The world would be cold and unfriendly. Could all of the world’s problems be solved through volunteerism? No, because there are many problems don’t have solution right now. For example, we could not save people for disease; maybe you could prevent the diseases and decrease the prevalence and incidence percent. But the volunteerism helps to change the world. Would you like to work as a volunteer overseas? I don’t know. I like to work as volunteer in Centroamerica.

I believe that the word volunteer should be equatable with global citizen because in international programs we get to meet people with different points of view and customs. When we do this, we expand our understanding of the world and its people, but most importantly it forces us to reflect upon ourselves and often times on the impact we are having on our environments. It is very rare for somebody who goes through this to feel satisfied with being negative or destructive, so it basically fosters a culture of altruism by transforming the volunteer through volunteering. Personally I prefer volunteer work that is somehow related to nature, but there are lots of possibilities, just imagine how unwelcoming the world would be if nobody did volunteer work, if nobody helped anybody else out.

Volunteer. Automatically pops to my mind my volunteering experience in National Children's Hospital. After having these experience, I'd say everyone should volunteer once in their lifes, so they can help other people and getting a great feeling such as that one resulting from volunteering. I've done volunteering with kids in a hospital, it may be a little tough, but it's an incredible experience. I'd also like to do volunteering building houses or helping needed communities. Thinking about what would be the world without volunteers, it would be a disaster, because everyone would be thinking in how much they'll get paid, and not to really hep the people arund them. Not all the problems in the world can be solved through volunteering, but a bucnh of them can, if every people does it.Finally, yeah, I'd pleased to do volunteering abroad, probably in Central or Latin America.

"Voluntary" inspires me to believe that there are still ways to help the neighbor nonprofit.
We should not volunteer to do good works for people, but we should not rule out the possibility, as it is a different way of learning to know that our actions can be of great benefit to other humans and provide your service without conditions, that is very pleased.
I personally like to volunteer in countries where human need is reflected, I guess it's not an easy job, but I like to share my knowledge to people who have not had the opportunity to learn. Also I would like to belong to an association may invest my time to do social work.
People think that they will never have needs, so the percentage of people providing volunteer assistance worldwide, is minimal and is not even half of the world's population. You must eradicate that thought because a world without solidarism, is like a world of inhuman.
The problems that form the history of the world are unsolvable by a volunteer, but you can start that way because that may be the opportunity to feel and experience the world problematic.
Of course I would love to volunteer in other countries, the motivation that most worries me is knowing that I can help or assist to eradicate global need.

Every time I hear volunteer I think about all the people that helps the others. I think it is amazing to be a volunteer, everyone should try it some day and just do something good for someone else. If I do volunteering I will do it with kids because I love them. I really want to do volunteer someday in my life. I admire all the volunteers and I can imagine a world without them. If there were no volunteers this world would be a chaos and the people will lost them humanity. Maybe volunteering can’t solve all the problems around the world but it is very helpful. The volunteers make the world a better place. As I already say I will love to be a volunteer it doesn’t matter where even if it is overseas.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear volunteer is working hard to help others and not expecting anything in return. I think everyone that would like to volunteer should do it, it would be a positive experience for them and for the ones they're helping. I would love to volunteer at a national park 'cause it would be a good chance to be in touch with nature while actually doing something helpful. I don't think volunteerism can solve all the problems in the world but it's definitely a good way to start improving our planet.

The first thing that pops in my mind when I hear the word volunteer is satisfaction because there is nothing like been a volunteer for something that you actually care about. We all have the right to get that feeling flowing trough our veins and help others in order to meet with ourselves at some point. Anyway of thinking that all the problems can be solved by one discipline is just fantasy, people should volunteer more and have the pleasure of helping others or helping the enviroment, if I had time and less massive homeworks I would defenitly go back to turtle conservation zones and encourage others to volunteer in the same way I was seducted 9 years ago.

Volunteer means for me get back to the life I little bit of what it has been given for me, gift someone else one more chance to see the ligth is his life, been volunteer means for me to share the hope of a better world. All we can be volunteers, even in our house, in our school or highschool, comunity... we can help anywhere, next to us there is always someone starving, sad or just alone, there are abused animals waiting for a new oportunity and why not being a volunteer? We have to make in ourselves the changes that we want to see in the world. I volunteer saving hurt or hungry animals, that really fulls my soul of gratitude, for have the capacity to help them. If no one volunteer... this world could be absolutely worst. The most of the social problems that attack the society could be improving by volunteerism, the rest ones could be solve by nanotechnology, I know that!... So without volunteering my life could be half empty.. the best therapy, for have a happy life is volunteering. It is a life style.
